The Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) Veterans Advocacy Project (VAP) is hosting an online presentation that will focus on the key elements of the Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics Act of 2022 (the PACT Act) that could impact VA benefits and care that veterans receive. This presentation will address the following topics:
Which conditions are now considered “presumptive conditions” under the new legislation
Changes to eligibility for VA healthcare and other benefits
Which servicemembers will qualify for the expanded eligibility
Actions that must be taken to access benefits and care for those who are eligible
