This presentation will answer the questions such as what an estate is and why you should estate plan today. We will discuss when you should review and revise your plan and why is it important to seek the assistance of a legal professional in navigating questions about your estate plan. Other topics to be discussed will be:

• Should we draft a will or a transfer on death deed or both?

• What are powers of attorney? What are their purposes?

• What is a health care directive?

• Why should you have beneficiary designations on your property (bank and savings accounts, life insurance, and retirement accounts)?

This presentation will also briefly cover the topics of clearing title to property with an Affidavit of Heirship.
