The Texas RioGrande Legal Aid (TRLA) Veterans Advocacy Project (VAP) hosts a monthly webinar covering various topics relating to veterans, their spouses & children, widows of, and active military members.

Gilbert Martinez, the Local Taxpayer Advocate at the Austin office of the Taxpayer Advocate Service, will present tips for individuals and families when filing their tax return this year. Educational Credits and credits for filers with dependent children will be discussed.  He will also outline resources to taxpayers available through the Taxpayer Advocate Service.

Attorney Polly Bone of the TRLA Texas Taxpayer Assistance Project will discuss what to do when a taxpayer does not get their anticipated refund or when they receive correspondence from the IRS.
