Texas RioGrande Legal and several local bar associations are hosting a free CLE series to celebrate Pro Bono Week.

Attorneys from TRLA and other organizations will highlight how the pandemic has increased the need for free legal services and provide information about recent changes that should make it easier for pro bono attorneys to get involved in the future. Specifically, there have been some important changes to the Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 145 that should help litigants proceed without court costs and the Texas Disciplinary Rule of Professional Conduct 6.05 which waives conflicts for clinic-type volunteer work.
