Attorneys from TRLA's Private Attorney Involvement section will highlight the ways the pandemic has increased the need for free legal services and provide some information about recent changes that should make it easier for pro bono attorneys to get involved in the future. Specifically, there have been some important changes to Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 145 that should help litigants proceed without court costs and the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct 6.05 which waives conflicts for clinic-type volunteer work.
