Texas RioGrande Legal Aid Receives $25,000 Grant from the Texas Bar Foundation

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Texas RioGrande Legal Aid is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a generous grant of $25,000 from the Texas Bar Foundation in support of our Texas Foster Youth Justice Project (TFYJP) Modernization Initiative. This grant will further our mission to provide crucial legal assistance to foster youth, ensuring their rights and needs are protected.

Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has awarded more than $26 million in grants to law-related programs. Supported by members of the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation is the nation's largest charitably-funded bar foundation.

The TFYJP Modernization Initiative aims to empower foster youth by enhancing access to legal services and resources, ultimately contributing to a brighter future for these vulnerable individuals. This grant from the Texas Bar Foundation is a testament to their dedication to supporting law-related programs that make a real impact in our communities.
